Famous Places of Delhi


Delhi is the historical place of India and the heart of  India. Today, we all know about the two Delhi's Old Delhi and New Delhi. Old Delhi is from the Mughal period and New Delhi was constructed by     Britisher's. Delhi is a very beautiful city and many historical monuments there built by Mughal emperors. Delhi is the capital of India and Delhi is also famous for its delicious food. Delhi has located on the bank of the river Yamuna. Delhi is a very crowded city. Delhi is large. Delhi is a metropolitan city and many politicians also live there.Many places to visit Delhi like Red Fort, Qutub Minar, National Museum, jantre mantra, zoo, Humayun's Tomb, Art gallery, Gandhi Samiti, and Rashtrapati Bhawan.

Qutub Minar



Qutub Minar was constructed by Qutub Ub-Din-Aibak in 1192. Qutub Minar is the second largest monument in Delhi. The height of Qutub Minar is 72.5 meters (238ft).                                                          Qutub Minar is a very beautiful place and daily many visitors come to see the Qutub Minar.                                                    Timings: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm                                                              Entry fee: Rs. 30 for Indians, Rs.500 for foreigners and free for below 15 years children 


Red Fort


Red Fort was constructed by Mughal Emperors. Red Fort is a very beautiful place, daily many people come to see the red fort. Red Fort was the ancient part of Shahjahanabad, but today we know the shahjahanabad from another name "Old Delhi". Red Fort is a famous monument of India.

Humayun's Tomb



The structure of Humayun's Tomb is built by Islamic and Persian architecture. Humayun Tomb is the monument of the emperor  Humayun. It is a famous place in India and it is also famous for its architecture.                                                                                            Timing:10:00 am to 6:00pm
